Basic maintenance of coin operated washing machines

1. Lengthen the drain pipe of the washing machine

If the drain pipe of the coin-operated washing machine is too short and it is inconvenient to use, find a used bicycle inner tube that does not leak, cut the appropriate length, scrape the interface and put it on the washing machine drain pipe, and stick it with glue. The inner tube becomes a tube.

2. Anti-rust of washing machine screws

When the washing machine has been in a humid environment for a long time, the screws on the sides and bottom are easy to rust and are difficult to unscrew during maintenance. Fill the screw hole with candle oil and seal the hole, which can isolate the contact between the moist air and the screw surface and keep the screw from rust for a long time.

3. The vibration of the box plate produces noise

When the washing machine is working, the iron sheet of the casing produces a lot of noise, especially the part of the front box plate, the vibration is particularly obvious. Stick two pieces of rubber or foam plastic on the inside of the front box board to fix it, and the noise will be significantly reduced. The details are as follows: prepare two waste automobile inner tubes with a size of 40×15 cm, scrape the surface clean, apply all-purpose glue, lay the washing machine flat, stick the rubber on the inside, and press it with a sandbag or a flat heavy object. Just stick it firmly.

4. The wear of the pulsator produces noise

There is a 2.5-3 mm thick brass ring between the pulsator plate and the hollow shaft sleeve of the pulsator washing machine. As the degree of wear increases, it will produce greater noise. Turn the washing machine over, remove the large pulley, take out the pulsator plate from the washing machine barrel, turn over the brass washer on the top of the hollow sleeve, place the used side down, and reinstall the pulsator plate and large pulley.
